Carers' Group

The Carers’ Group is a friendly and supportive group that offers a release from the pressure felt by many carers who may feel they have nowhere to turn.

Carers are encouraged to share their own experiences with each other in a safe environment where no-one is judged.

A place where anything can be discussed and things are kept confidential within the group.

The Carers’ Group meets every Wednesday at 1pm until 3pm.

The meetings are held at Myplace, St Ann’s Road, Rotherham S65 1PH.

We would love to see you, all carers are welcome.

Comments from group members:

  • Enables me to be a more confident and relaxed carer
  • Helps me understand carers’ issues
  • Stops me being isolated in the carers’ role
  • Learning about coping strategies from others
  • Keeping in touch with other support services
  • Relieves the pressure of being a carer
