Welcome to Rotherham & Barnsley Mind
Rotherham & Barnsley Mind has been providing community mental health support since 1977 and currently offers services to Adults in the community and at the resource centre at Amberley Court via bespoke personalised care packages which may be funded via an individual budget subject to eligibility.
Tenancy housing support funded by supporting people is also available.
Rotherham & Barnsley Mind - Children, Young People & Families Service currently engages with 28 schools, which includes 13 secondary, 13 primary and 1 pupil referral unit. Work is undertaken on-site in schools and creates a safe, therapeutic and confidential environment.
The Children, Young People & Families Service also offers Mental Health Training through 13 new and updated training courses designed to raise awareness of mental health issues and provide strategies for professionals working with children & young people. The courses provide an opportunity to reflect on current practice, consider up to date research and network with other professionals.
